Event Registration QR Codes
Event Registration QR codes allow Registration customer admins to create event-specific registration workflows directly within the platform. These QR codes can be shared at in-person or virtual events to quickly capture supplier information without needing to contact Support to request event codes.
This functionality helps teams save time, maintain control, and manage event registrations independently.
What Are Event Registration QR Codes
Event Registration QR codes are unique QR codes tied to a specific event. When scanned, suppliers are directed to a short registration form designed specifically for that event.
Each event includes:
- Its own configuration and timeline
- A dedicated supplier list
- A unique QR code tied to the event
This makes it easy to track and manage registrations by event.
Who Can Use This Feature
This feature is available to Registration customer admins.
Admins can:
- Create Event Registration QR codes for upcoming events
- Edit and manage existing events
- Control when QR codes are active
Where to Find Event Registration
An Events menu is available under the Registration module.
From this menu, admins can:
- Create new event registrations
- Edit existing events
- Manage active and upcoming QR codes
- Control QR code availability by date
How Event Registration QR Codes Work
Admins configure each event by defining the required settings. Once created, a QR code is generated for the event.
When a supplier scans the QR code:
- During the active event dates, they are directed to the event-specific registration form
- Outside of the active event dates, they are redirected to the client-specific Supplier Registration page
Required Event Setup Fields
Each Event Registration QR code requires the following fields.
Event Name
- Must be unique
- Used to generate the event URL embedded in the QR code
Event List Name
- The name of the supplier list that appears in Explorer
- Displays in the My Registered Suppliers tab
- Automatically captures suppliers who submit the event registration form
Date Range
- Determines when the QR code is active
- Within the date range, suppliers are directed to the event-specific registration form
- Outside of the date range, suppliers are redirected to the client-specific Supplier Registration page
Allow Business Card Scan
- Toggle On to allow mobile devices to scan business cards using the camera
- Toggle Off to remove the camera option from the registration form
