Event QR Codes Overview

Event QR codes can be created for specific upcoming events.

These QR codes need the following to be set up:

• Event Name: The event name must be unique and will be used for the event URL that is embedded in the QR code.
  
  
• Event List Name: The Event List Name is the name of the list that will appear in Explorer. This list will appear in the 'My Data Enrichment Files' tab.
  
  
• Date Range: The Date Range will determine when the QR code is active.
  • When the QR code is opened within the date range, the user will be redirected to a form that is specific to the event.
  • When the QR code is opened outside of the date range, the user will be redirected to the client specific Supplier Registration page.
    
    
• Allow Business Card Scan*:
  • Toggle this option 'On' to allow the camera feature on mobile devices to capture business card details.
  • Toggle this option 'Off' to remove the camera option from the form.
  • *: This option should be turned on for all events, otherwise end-users will not be presented with the short form for registration. Required for 'Auto Approved' option to work.

• Auto Approved:
  • Toggle this option 'On' to auto approve any suppliers that fill out the Event Form.
    • Suppliers will be automatically added to the event list.
    • Suppliers will be automatically added to the registered suppliers list.
      NOTE: This option will not require that suppliers complete the full list of registration questions before they are approved.
      
      
  • Toggle this option 'Off' to require that suppliers complete the full registration.
    • Suppliers will need to complete their registration and be approved through Supplier.io's approval process before being added to the event list.
    • Suppliers will need to complete their registration and be approved through Supplier.io's approval process before being added to the registered suppliers list.
      NOTE: If the supplier does not complete their registration, or they are not approved within the date range, they will not appear on the event list.
